The goal is to make a way to incorporate digital art in public spaces

The project requirements are:

  1. Design, build and test a system to create, share and display digital art in the public space, following sustainable and ethical practices. The purpose, target user segment and the full set of device requirements are to be defined by the team based on the state of the art, marketing, sustainability and ethical analyses.
  2. Use or reuse low cost hardware solutions
  3. Comply with the following EU Directives:
  4. Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive (EMCD);
  5. Low Voltage Directive (LVD);
  6. Machinery Directive (MD);
  7. Radio Equipment Directive (RED);
  8. Restriction of Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive (ROHS);
  9. Mandatory adoption and use of the International System of Units (The NIST International Guide for the use of the International System of Units)
  10. Use open source software and technologies.
  11. Maximum budget: 100 €
